Humble beginnings and grand ambition

In 1993, three young Belgian entrepreneurs joined forces with a clear goal: to develop a stainless steel submersible pump that could compete with the biggest names on the market. In an industry characterised by stiff competition and high technical demands, they wanted to make a difference with innovation, reliability and Belgian craftsmanship. That vision led to the creation of Well Pumps S.A. in 1995 and the opening of a first production facility in Courcelles, Belgium.

The first pumps were designed and produced entirely in-house – and soon proved a success. What started as an ambitious project grew into a solid foundation for international growth.

Solid growth based on quality and innovation

Over the years, Well Pumps has become a fixture in the world of stainless steel well pumps. We expanded our range from 3″ to 10″ pumps, all made of high-quality stainless steel and tested for performance and durability.

Today, our pumps are known for their:

  • energy efficiency

And in applications worldwide – from water supply in buildings to large-scale irrigation projects and industrial processes.

But innovation never stops. Since 2000, we have been developing a complete line of solar pump systems, powered by renewable energy and controlled via our patented Helios control system. Our systems use the latest technologies to ensure maximum efficiency and long life. Solar pumps are now our fastest growing product group and we continue to invest in their further development. These sustainable solutions are deployed today in natural areas, agriculture, research projects and remote regions without electricity.

Quality

We manufacture to the highest standards and comply with the European Minimum Efficiency Index (MEI). Our stainless steel pumps (AISI 304, AISI 316, AISI 904L) are tested piece by piece to ensure the highest quality.

Sustainability

Our Fleurus plant is partly powered by 600 solar panels, which cover about 100% of our energy needs. We also promote the use of renewable energy and actively recycle.

Safety

All our products comply with international drinking water standards (ACS, KTW, WRAS) and CE certifications, guaranteeing safety for both installers and end users.
