Magical Waterfall Above the Dubai Canal

In 2018 an impressive fountain was installed on a bridge above the Dubai Canal by one of our customers, a specialist in large-scale fountain projects.

For this installation the 10″ WPS 220-1 Well Pumps were selected, known for their high flow rate and low head. These pumps ensure a powerful and consistent water projection across the canal, perfectly suited to the demands of major water features.

What makes this fountain truly unique is the dynamic interplay between aesthetics and functionality: when a boat passes, the waterfall opens and closes like a curtain to let it through. Combined with the lighting effects, it has become a popular attraction for visitors from around the world.
