Three Times More Rice on Luzon Thanks to Reliable Pump Solutions

Between 2017 and 2021, several irrigation projects were carried out on the island of Luzon in the Philippines to support local rice farmers. The installations were completed in collaboration with an experienced local partner dedicated to the agricultural sector.

Depending on the water source, rivers, boreholes, or others, a combination of large 10″ WPS pumps and surface pumps from Well Pumps was selected. This flexible approach ensured that each system could be perfectly adapted to the local conditions.

Thanks to these irrigation solutions, rice yields can be tripled on the same plot of land, allowing farmers to become far less dependent on weather conditions.
