Well Pumps in action at Mijnwater in Heerlen

At Mijnwater in Heerlen, water from former mine shafts is used for sustainable district heating. A fine example of how water technology contributes to a more sustainable energy supply.

For this project, Haitjema from Dedemsvaart took care of installing a 2½-inch valve, which regulates the water flow in the installation or shuts it off when required. In addition, Mijnwater’s staff installed the control system in the technical room.

In cooperation with Well Pumps, the installation was successfully commissioned, to the full satisfaction of Mijnwater. A great result thanks to the collaboration between all parties involved!
